[In Context] Raul Martínez
Raul Martínez is a neurologist and clinical researcher at Centro Integral en Neurociencias (CINAC), HM Puerta del Sur University Hospital (Móstoles, Madrid, Spain). After finishing his neurology training at Hospital Universitari Dr Josep Trueta (Girona, Spain), he spent 6 months in the deep brain stimulation department of the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery (London, UK), and did a 2-year fellowship in Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Grenoble (La Tronche, Grenoble, France). His research focuses on the study of non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease and on functional neurosurgery, including the application of MRI-guided focused ultrasound.
